Vanessa McArn

Vanessa McArn lives in Orrum, North Carolina with her husband and three children. She was born in Scotland County, North Carolina. Mrs. McArn is a 1991 graduate of Marlboro County High School in Bennettsville, South Carolina. Vanessa also attended Morris College in Sumter South Carolina from 1991 to 1993 where she majored in Business Administration. Currently, Vanessa is enrolled with the University of Phoenix where she is taking online courses in preparation for an Associate Degree in Paralegal Technology.

Vanessa has been with Bowen & Brooks, PLLC for nearly 12 years and has developed a vast knowledge in areas of Workers Compensation, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Small Claims and Criminal matters. Vanessa’s duties consist of preparing correspondence, interviewing clients, file preparation, resolution of claims, scheduling of depositions, preparation of General Warranty Deeds, Wills, Power of Attorneys as well as appearing in Magistrate Court to dispose of Complaints in Summary Ejectments.

Mrs. McArn takes pride in her work and has a personal relationship with each client as a reassurance to them that their needs are met on an individual basis.

Vanessa’s goal as a legal secretary is to make sure that the administrative tasks and duties performed will aid in a successful operation of a legal or law office.
